Jurnal Proteksi Tanaman (Journal of Plant Protection) or JPT is a scientific journal that published twice a year (June and December) by Plant Protection Department, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Andalas, Indonesia.

The journal can publish research articles, laboratory reports, systematic review, and short communications. The journal mainly focuses on what or how to know the pest and disease of plant and how to protect the plant from them. Detailed scopes of articles accepted for submission to JPT are: Plant pest science (insect, weed, other pests), plant pathology, toxicology of pesticide, biological control, biotechnology for plant protection, and integrated pest management
