Publication charge

JPT does not charge a submission fee for any manuscript.

Authors whose manuscripts are accepted for publication are required to pay an Article Processing Charge (APC) of:  IDR 1,000,000 / accepted article.  The fee supports the journal’s editorial management, peer-review administration, copyediting, layout editing, online publication, DOI registration, website maintenance, and digital preservation.

The APC is requested only after a manuscript has been formally accepted for publication. Payment of the fee does not influence the editorial assessment, peer-review process, or decision to accept or reject a manuscript.

When substantial English-language improvement is required, authors may be advised to use a language-editing service before publication. JPT may provide an optional language-editing service at a fee of: IDR 500,000 / accepted article. The language-editing fee is separate from the APC and will only be applied after the authors have been informed and have agreed to use the service. Authors may also use another qualified language-editing service of their choice. Language editing does not guarantee manuscript acceptance.

Temporary waivers may be offered for particular issues, publication programs, or institutional collaborations. Details and eligibility requirements will be published through official announcements on the JPT website.  A waiver or payment of publication charges has no influence on editorial decisions or the peer-review process.

Payment instructions will be sent by the Editorial Office only after the manuscript has been formally accepted. Authors will receive official confirmation or proof of payment. Authors should make payments only through the official payment method stated in the acceptance or payment letter issued by JPT.
