Archiving

Jurnal Proteksi Tanaman (Journal of Plant Protection) or JPT is dedicated to ensuring the long-term preservation and accessibility of its published content. To guarantee that the scholarly work published in JPT remains accessible to the global community, we have established robust archiving measures in collaboration with recognized preservation services.

1. Digital Preservation through Portico

JPT is archived in Portico, a leading digital preservation service that ensures scholarly content's secure and long-term preservation. All digital content, including articles, issues, and supplementary materials, is archived by Portico. This ensures that the journal's content remains accessible even in the event of unforeseen disruptions to the journal's regular distribution channels.  In the rare case that JPT ceases publication or its content becomes inaccessible through its usual channels, Portico will provide continued access to the archived materials, preserving the journal's valuable contributions to the field of plant protection.

2. Validation of Archival Status via ISSN Portal

The archival status and official recognition of JPT can be verified through the International Standard Serial Number (ISSN) system. The journal is validated and registered with the ISSN, ensuring its recognition as a legitimate and identifiable serial publication.

JPT holds ISSN 2621-3141, validated and listed in the official ISSN Portal. This validation confirms the journal's authenticity and compliance with international serial publication standards.

The journal's archival status and other bibliographic details can be verified on its profile page in the ISSN Portal. This assures authors, readers, and librarians that the journal's content is preserved and accessible by established archival practices.
